Lenovo announces the arrival in Spain of its ThinkBook family, 3 laptops for light and affordable companies

Lenovo has just announced the arrival in Spain of the first three members of its new family of ThinkBook laptops . It is a range aimed at companies, and that is halfway between its popular ThinkPad aimed at companies and other consumer equipment for end users. All of them are ultra-thin, with quite affordable prices and betting on Windows 10.

In total, they have announced the arrival of three different models. The first to do so will be the new ThinkBook 13s that is available from today , and is the one that has more features. They have also announced that in November the ThinkBook 14 and 15 arrive, not so capable in their hardware but somewhat cheaper.

A ThinkBook 13s to lead the range

The first device to be introduced is the ThinkBook 13s , which features a 13.3-inch IPS screen and FullHD resolution with 300 nits brightness. It has 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors, 4, 8 or 16 GB configurations of DDR4 RAM, and internal storage that can be M.2 PCIe 128, 256 or 512 GB, or 256 gigabytes in SSD.

Its battery is 45Whr with fast charge, and the manufacturer ensures that it can reach 11 hours of autonomy. Even so, having not tried it in any analysis is not yet something we can confirm. It also has Intel UHD 620 or AMD Radeon 540X graphics with 2 GB GDDR5, as well as Dolby Audio sound with HARMAN speakers.

As for ports, it must be said that it is well stocked with 1 USB 3.1 Type C and two USB 3.1 Type A , with another HDMI 1.4b port and one that is a combo between microphone and audio output. All with Bluetooth 5.2 and a WiFi 802.11ac 2 × 2.

As for the design, the device is finished in anodized aluminum with three layers weighing 1.40 kg, with hinges coated in an indium alloy to reduce possible interference in the WiFi signal, and has 5.5 mm thick frames on the screen. The screen, by the way, can rotate up to 180 degrees. Its webcam has a cover to try to protect your privacy, equips a fingerprint reader for biometric identification, and the keyboard is resistant to liquids and can withstand spills of up to 60cc2.

The ThinkBook 13s is now available at a price that starts at 899 euros , but that is expected to grow as more capacity we look for its RAM and internal storage.

ThinkBook 14 and 15 for a more affordable price

The other devices presented by Lenovo are the ThinkBook 14 and 15, which are a step below 13s in terms of performance . Even so, they seek to be an alternative for companies that look for laptops that meet and remain economical. All this without neglecting a design with aluminum and magnesium chassis.

These devices equip tenth-generation Intel Core i7 processors , with an AMD Radeon 620 graphics and Intel Optane H10 memory. It has a RAM memory that starts at 4 GB DDR4, and a storage that can be 1 TB SSD or with a dual disk of 2 TB HDD. Obviously, prices will vary depending on the configuration chosen.

Computers have keys dedicated to the Skype for Business application to facilitate video conferencing, and support for fast loading. As for the battery, the device with a 14-inch screen should reach 12 hours according to Lenovo, as well as a version with a 15-inch screen that is virtually identical to its younger sister.

As you can see, we cannot say that they are high-end equipment, but that will be reflected in a more affordable price. The two will go on sale next November for a price of 749 euros , which make them quite affordable alternatives.
