In Realme they have started the year with enthusiasm and their showcase of the mid-range is still being more complete and varied these days. First came the new Realme X7, X7 Pro and V3 , but what we did not expect so much is that the renovations of the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro would arrive : the new Realme 7 Pro and Realme 7 .

The play changes slightly and this time it is the most basic one that takes the 90 HZ on the screen . The goal itself is the same: to gain in price adjustment without neglecting interesting and up-to-date specifications, so let’s see how they look.

Realme 7: 90 Hz and up to 8 GB of RAM

The stretched module of the Realme 6 becomes somewhat wider in its successor, integrating four rear cameras that we will describe below. But yes, both the back and the front inherit many characteristic features of the brand’s mobiles, with a striking aesthetic while simple and the curved side edges of the back.

The screen is flat and integrates the front camera with a hole, in the case of a 6.5-inch panel with FullHD + resolution and a ratio of 20: 9. A screen whose maximum refresh rate is 90 Hz and 120 Hz for the touch screen, which does not integrate the fingerprint reader, since it is on one side.

Although one of the features that have stood out is that the Realme 7 launches the MediaTek Helio G95 processor , aimed at meeting the needs of the gamer public without increasing the price too much. As for memories, we see versions of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and 8 GB and 128 GB, both expandable with a microSD card.

As for the battery, it integrates a 5,000 mAh battery and a 30W fast charge, with which they promise a full charge from 0 to 100% in just 65 minutes. They have implemented a carbon fiber cooling system and in this case there is a 3.5 millimeter minijack.

We also said that the new Realme 7 comes with four rear cameras , which are composed of the following along with the front:

  • Main sensor Samsung S5KGM1ST of 48 megapixels with a lens with aperture f / 1.8.
  • 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and f / 2.3 aperture.
  • Macro with f / 2.4 aperture and 2 megapixel sensor.
  • 2 megapixel monochrome sensor with f / 2.4 aperture lens
  • Front camera: 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor and lens with f / 2.1 aperture.

Realme 7 Pro: AMOLED screen and the promise of a full charge in just over half an hour

The perforation of the screen also stays in the Pro version, but with a diameter of 3.65 millimeters according to Realme (smaller). The front is thus similar to the Realme 7 and some predecessors, with reduced frames and the usual chin.

The camera module is also somewhat more square and we will see that the configuration of four cameras that characterizes the Realme 7 is maintained, although with a different arrangement: instead of all being on the same strip, one happens to be on the other side, next to the flash. The back part maintains the glossy finish and the matte strip on one side , with the brand’s logo.

In this case, it is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), which according to the manufacturer has a 90.8% use of the front. In addition, unlike the previous one, it does integrate the fingerprint reader and stays at 60 Hz.

For this Pro version, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G is chosen and there is also an option of 6 and 8 GB of RAM, but with 128 GB of internal storage expandable with a microSD card as the only possibility for both. The battery is of a lower capacity, 4,500 mAh, but in return it has a fast charge of 65W, with the promise of fully charging it in just 34 minutes (and 42% in the first 10 minutes).

As for photography, in the rear cameras we see the same composition as in the Realme 7, but seeing that in the front there is change:

  • 64 megapixel Sony IMX682 main sensor with an f / 1.8 aperture lens.
  • 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and f / 2.3 aperture.
  • Macro with f / 2.4 aperture and 2 megapixel sensor.
  • 2 megapixel monochrome sensor with f / 2.4 aperture lens
  • Front camera: 32 megapixel sensor and lens with f / 2.5 aperture.
